Nocando – Tits ‘N Explosions (Review x Stream/Download)

Nocando’s been a regular feature of the blog circuit for a few years now, and we’re joining the fray with the release of his dope new project – “Tits ‘N Explosions“.

The founding member of the Hellfyre Club hasn’t personally dropped a project of length since early releasing 2012′s Zero Hour EP at the internet-preferred price-tag of $free, but the time away hasn’t dulled his senses… and inflation certainly hasn’t raised his prices.

First a bit of history; we got the London Grime (salute!) inspired single, “All Over A Bitch (AOB)”, from the project late last month, and it’s a real standout piece on the tape.

Thavius Beck blesses the track with a hype horn-n-bass instrumental to set off the Cali emcee’s creatively-worded post-breakup adventures. If you need convincing, here’s your convincing:

Review

Punchlines, flow, and wordplay rule the day on “Tits ‘N Explosions“, and the entire project sees Nocando genuinely enjoying just being in front of a mic.

Whether being joined by Pigeon John and Cel over a  trap-influenced Preston James punchline-vehicle for “No Sweat“; encouraging listeners to “occupy the VIP” on “Where’s The Money”; claiming to “piss excellence and write illegibly” on the franticly-percussioned “More Credit“; or getting deeper thoughts off his chest; lyrical excellence reigns supreme.

Check out highlight tracks “Last But Not Least” to see a perfect bit of rhyme-based self-psychoanalysis and “Secrets” to see Nocando turn his biting, sarcasm-laced analysis onto unnamed parties of ill-repute.

The verdict is simple – “Tits ‘N Explosions” is a masterpiece of personality, wordplay, and flow… and you need to hear it.

You’re ready for the full tape now, right? Stream the album and claim your $Name-Your-Price download right here, or head over to the Hellfyre Club Bandcamp page to get it from the source.
